My Story
Who am I? It is a good question. It is something I have asked myself almost constantly over the last few years. Basically, I’m just a 30-something, small town girl, that joined the military several years ago so I could see the world. Yeah, I fell for that one. I can’t say it wasn’t true though, I did see the world.
I have spent a lot of my life with a feeling that something wasn’t quite right. I was doing the normal things. I worked hard for others and made all the choices that I thought would make my family and friend happy. I realized one day that I wasn’t who I wanted to be. I knew that I was faking my way through life. Living that way is exhausting.
Then something changed. I would like to say I had a vision. Because visions always sound cool. No, no vision for me. For me it was a moment of clarity where I made a simple choice to become what I was meant to be with the time I have left. That was when the hard work started and my life changed forever.
Why a Human Potential Blog?
I want to have a place to hold myself accountable and grow. I would love to build a community of like-minded women who have found their own warrior spirit. Together we can push each other and give encouragement. Ultimately, I want to create an organization to help empower women around the world. That is what the Woman Warrior Project is all about.
Is This Site Just for Women?
This site is for anyone who enjoys it and finds it helpful. Everyone’s inputs are welcome.
If you are a warrior ready to step into the training ground introduce yourself. I would love to hear from you.
